Who We Are?

Swimming in open water during the Maine summers is one of my favorite things to do for exercise and mental well-being. The water is between 55 to 60 degrees. Each day I set a goal of one hour of exercise: spinning, lifting and using weights, yoga, biking, rowing and so on. Doing so enables me to be active and do things that I want to do. Some of my friends have neglected this and struggle to do some daily activities. I do understand that I have been blessed with reasonably good health and exercise helps especially as we age.

A short story...

Ed retired a few years ago after  several work experiences. When he finished college at Stetson, he served two years in the Army Finance Corps. He then spent a few years in banking and went back to school at the University of Florida for additional work in accounting which lead to a short stint as an accountant. In the 90’s, he completed an MBA in Computer Resources at Webster University.

Five years with a large mortgage company, Stockton, Whatley, Davin & Co. lead to a decade long owner of a small commercial real estate company.  He joined CSX Realty and worked there another 10 years until he retired. No ready to quit, Ed became a commercial real estate appraiser and retired. Not satisfied with sitting still, he keeps learning and enjoys sharing and trying new things which lead to this website.
