When you are shopping for groceries, “shop around the outside walls of the store”. What that means is pick from the produce department, dairy and meats (prefer lean), and reduce going to the center aisles for crackers, chips, processed and prepared foods. Think whole grains, try new vegetables, Greek Yogurt, and lots of fruits.
