Apple Series 7 Watch

Apple Series 7 Watch

The newest release of the Apple Watch is amazing with all the features available. To have the best experience you’ll need an iPhone, likely an Eleven or newer.  I have listed a few features below to whet your interest. YouTube has many videos that offer more as well as how to set or use the feature. In your browser, type the feature you are trying to use, and you should find directions on how to do so.  You’ll just need to explore the details on your own and uncover more features than listed here. Plus, this watch charges much faster than my Series 2 trade-in.

If you find that the watch is not responding as expected, try a reset by pressing the crown and the sidebar at the same time until the Apple logo appear. Let it reboot. If you continue to have issues (not working as expected), I suggest making sure both the iPhone and watch have the latest updates installed. If the issue persists, try unpair and re-pair the watch and iPhone again. That will bring back the factory settings, while keeping your apps and data intact. See this article for more information. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204568  Needless to say, but be sure your Bluetooth function on iPhone is turned on. (oops)

To access Control Center, touch and hold the bottom of the screen, then swipe up to open Control Center.

First, it will ask, “did you fall” and then ask “are you ok” or not. If you don’t respond, it will make the calls and announce your location. See this link for more information.  https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208944  You’ll have to set this up on iPhone using the Watch App.

Fitness+ – this app let’s you connect your Airpods or headphones with your watch. Then, when you select an exercise you will get audio accompany sound to encourage you. ( I have only just started to use this. Probably much more to discover).

Noise – this app will evaluate and warn you if you are exposed to potentially high levels of noise from music, machinery, etc.

Go the list of apps and choose App Store for many more apps to download to customize the watch for your lifestyle.
